Embellish opened its doors in November of 2005. Originally located on the North shore the store relocated to the newly renovated Warehouse Row in downtown Chattanooga in November 2009.

Terri Holley, a Master Consultant with The Connaught Group based in New York, opened the boutique after finding it increasingly difficult to find her favorite brands and the latest styles for her Carlisle clients in the local market.

In addition to carrying a wide variety of shoes, handbags and other accessories not otherwise offered in Chattanooga and surrounding areas, Embellish features a private showroom where trunk shows are conducted several times a year featuring Carlisle, Per Se, Charlotte Brody and Diane Snyder cashmere collections.
